clayArt Studios' Senior Instructor
Jenifer Levine is a Toronto-based ceramic artist originally from New Brunswick. She received her Diploma of Fine Craft from New Brunswick College of Craft & Design in 1999 and came to Ontario in 2000 to study ceramic sculpture at the University of Waterloo, obtaining her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2003 with honors.
With over 20 years of ceramic experience she founded her own company “3DE Creations” in 2017, where she designs and produces both unorthodox, functional ceramic tableware and fine art pieces. Jenifer’s unique works exemplify many of the ‘classical’ techniques used with this medium such as hand-building, wheel-throwing and Bas Relief carving. Her surface treatments encompass the breadth of glaze chemistry, from food safe glazes to texture enhancing oxide treatments.
She is currently studying at the University of Niagara for her Bachelor of Professional Studies in Education, with the hopes of enriching and encouraging new minds and the students at clayArt Studios.
