Keenan O’Toole is a Toronto based ceramic artist producing sculptural vessels and functional dinnerware.

 

She grew up on the edge of Toronto and discovered her love for ceramics at Sheridan College where she received her Honors Bachelor in Craft and Design majoring in Ceramics. She continued her studies completing her Post-Baccalaureate at Alberta University of the Arts.

 

Her work investigates the contemporary decorative objects with traditional building methods. Focusing on form and function using familiar everyday objects, she investigate the risk of workmanship and boundaries of the material.
