Designed for complete beginners and anyone returning to clay, this hands-on course introduces the essential skills of pottery. You’ll explore wheel throwing, hand-building, trimming and glazing while developing confidence through guided practice.

Our curriculum provides a strong foundation while encouraging creativity, exploration and individual interests. If you prefer to focus entirely on hand-building or wheel throwing, simply let your instructor know at the beginning of the course. You’ll receive guidance based on your chosen focus while creating pottery of your own and building skills that can grow with you.

 

All materials and kiln firings are included.
